The point where your roof meets the outer walls of your house
is called the Roofline. The Fascias is
the long straight board that runs along the lower edge of
the roof and is fixed directly to the roof trusses. The Guttering is attached
to the fascias board. The Soffit board
is secured on the underside of the roof and provides roof
ventilation. The Bargeboard is secured to the gable ends
and provides the finish to the roof edge.
